Since January 1999, the General advice of Maine-et-Loire wished to multiply the animations suggested with the public whole, the castle of Plessis-Macé, like setting up a true policy of opening towards the school ones by the creation of activities for the young people, being based on the architectural richness of the site and the diversity of furniture. Thus, during the school year, of the adapted visits and the workshops allowing a redécouverte various times and especially an incursion into the Middle Ages, are proposed with the primary educations and to the schoolboys.
These initiatives were enriched by creation by the Très festival early in scene, festival of theatre proposed on the one hand in day, for the school ones and on the other hand in evening for the public whole.
This festival, which is with its 10th edition this year, supplements the action taken by the Festival of Anjou to allow to the young people a discovery and a sensitizing the theatrical universe.
In evening, starting from 20:30, of the stage performances put in scene and interpreted by students but also by associative amateurs or professional troops, and applying to any public, are given in the rooms of the commun runs. A program varied and from quality proposes a discovery of the richnesses of the French theatrical inheritance.
